Can­cer Coun­cil Vic­to­ria and the Vic­to­ri­an Gov­ern­ment act­ing through the Vic­to­ri­an Depart­ment of Health, are work­ing togeth­er to deliv­er Can­cer Research Fel­low­ships Vic­to­ria. By com­bin­ing resources, the col­lab­o­ra­tion strength­ens Victoria’s can­cer research land­scape, fos­ters inno­va­tion, and accel­er­ates the trans­la­tion of research into improved out­comes for peo­ple with cancer. 

Can­cer Research Fel­low­ships Vic­to­ria sup­ports ear­ly-career and mid-career researchers to under­take high-qual­i­ty trans­la­tion­al can­cer research that will improve the pre­ven­tion, detec­tion, treat­ment and care for peo­ple affect­ed by cancer. 

Through a col­lab­o­ra­tive process of engage­ment, brand strat­e­gy, tagline, and iden­ti­ty devel­op­ment, we cre­at­ed a bold and inspir­ing brand that reflects the part­ner­ships dri­ving improved out­comes for peo­ple with can­cer. The iden­ti­ty cap­tures the alliance between Can­cer Coun­cil Vic­to­ria and the Vic­to­ri­an Gov­ern­ment, rep­re­sent­ed by the Depart­ment of Health, sym­bol­ised by the “+” in the neg­a­tive space of the logo. The accom­pa­ny­ing cell arrow motifs fur­ther empha­sise progress and the for­ward momen­tum of can­cer research.
