Work Smart Drive Smart is a road safety program that is evidence based, practical and free for new apprentices in construction trades who need to drive for work and are on their P plates. The program is designed to provide the knowledge and practical skills to help new apprentices deal with the unique driving challenges they face at work. The program provides a hands-on, practical environment that allows their facilitators to help participants to develop strategies for dealing with risky situations on the job.
Working with the TAC and the Victorian State Government Superbold was tasked with designing a brand to sit under the Road Safety Education Victoria master brand. The brand had to appeal to many audiences including apprentices, employers particularly in trade industries, industry bodies, TAFE/RTO’s and the general public.
Superbold created a brand that revolves around the principles of connectivity and advancement relevant to the program. The brand’s arrow shapes, similar to that of a directional sign are used not only in the brand itself but in the brand’s visual language to embody the ideas of movement and progression through the road safety program. Superbold worked on many resources including program print material, livery and digital collateral.
